Hollow Earth Radio
Hollow Earth Radio is the Pacific Northwest's freeform online radio station that presents a forum for underrepresented music, sounds and perspectives. We are located in the Central District, Seattle's historically African American neighborhood and later in 2016, we will begin broadcasting terrestrially (KHUH 100.3 FM) as a Low Powered FM station. Through the lens of media justice, we work directly with the community to build a training curriculum for people to become citizen journalists, DJ's, sound engineers and more while providing a venue for artists and performers to showcase their work. We are also working towards creating news programing where we can consistently and artfully cover the issues in our region.
Eradicating Offensive Native Mascotry
EONM (Eradicating Offensive Native Mascotry) is a grassroots organization that is dedicated to informing individuals and mobilizing groups to combat the public misappropriation of Native American imagery, and calling out entities complacent with, as well as ones directly profiting from, blatant racism. We do this by educating ourselves and others on history, current events, public relations, and social media tactics.
