Want to Start Your Own Radio Station? Now You Can!

In 2010 Congress passed the Community Radio Act, and on November 30th 2012, the Federal Communications Commission voted in rules and criteria that make thousands of Low Power FM licenses available to local rural, urban, and tribal communities!  Low Power FM stations are community radio outlets that are owned and controlled by the people, instead of corporations.  These LPFM licenses will be the last and single greatest expansion of radio in history.
