MAG-Net members learn powerful arts, organizing, and media strategies for media justice through the educational and skills building events of the Media Justice Learning Community. Through this unique community, more than 8,000 social change leaders have participated in leadership training, media policy education, and networking opportunities.

  • Media Justice Salons are a public education series hosted in partnership with members. These popular salons help MAG-Net members, and our larger community, understand the media environment, rules, and issues impacting their lives.
  • Conference Delegations subsidize travel and registration for network members to key conferences, field and policy events.
  • Practitioner Cohorts organize network leaders around areas of shared interest including arts and culture, community media, strategic communications, youth media and more. Cohort leaders participate in peer exchange, deliver training as members of a national practitioners network, and collaborate to advance network goals.
